Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
• Manage month-end, quarter, and year-end closings, inventory control, AP/AR and general ledger.
• Ensure timely submission of group reporting and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee company banking facilities and operational transactions.
• Present detailed financial analysis, variance explanations, and recommendations to top management.
• Oversee product costing processes including standard costing updates and margin monitoring.
• Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, WIP, BOM accuracy, and COGS.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
• Develop financial performance measures to support department goals.
• Liaise with auditors on interim and year-end audits and other exercises.
• Engage with bankers, external consultants and government authorities as needed.
• Participate in ad-hoc functions and related tasks when required.
