Job summary

ACCA Careers in Klang seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in a manufacturing setting. You will manage quarterly/annual reporting, consolidation across subsidiaries, and external audits, ensuring MFRS compliance and governance.

You will lead a finance team, enhance internal controls, and provide strategic financial insights to senior management. A CPA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred with strong regulatory knowledge and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance required.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in financial forecasting and analysis beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
• Manage Group financial reporting, management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Oversee consolidation across subsidiaries with intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016 and related regulations.
• Coordinate external audits, including year-end statutory audits and audit schedules.
• Review accounting treatments for significant transactions and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and reporting processes for governance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units and management to provide financial insights for decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, bankers, and regulators.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team; drive continuous improvements.
