Job summary

Dan Kaffe Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations in Malaysia, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls. You will lead month-end and year-end close, prepare management accounts and budgets, and monitor cash flow while guiding junior staff and coordinating with auditors and regulators.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, proficiency with SAP, and a results-driven mindset in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to full set accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with SAP or accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities with timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analyses.
• Monitor budget performance and propose cost-control recommendations.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with banks on financing and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audits.
