Job summary

MGCA CAFE MY SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. You will oversee general ledger activities, asset management, AP/AR, SST filings, and financial planning.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree, strong analytical skills, and experience in a retail/QSR setting. Proficiency with ERP systems (MS Dynamics) and Oracle POS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting with knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Experience in retail/QSR preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger: end-to-end accounting, journal entries, reconciliation, month-end closing.
• Fixed Asset & ROu Asset Management: asset registers, depreciation, lease liabilities, tagging.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: monitor invoices, ensure accruals, support aging.
• SST Checking & Filing: bi-monthly SST review and filings compliance.
• Financial Reporting: prepare monthly financial statements and schedules.
• Compliance and Risk Management: support internal controls and regulatory alignment.
• Tax & Audit Support: liaise with tax agents and assist audits.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: assist in budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
