Job summary

MST Golf Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance to manage end-to-end accounting processes, drive accurate financial reporting, and oversee tax and statutory compliance. The role involves supervising a finance team and coordinating audits in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, extensive ERP experience, and the ability to improve finance processes while maintaining tight controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or multi-channel retail operations is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Zeoniq preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts including general ledger, payables, receivables, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing; ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses.
• Oversee AR, POS transactions, payment gateway settlements, and collections.
• Coordinate internal and external audit, tax, SST, and statutory compliance.
