Job summary

IBM Malaysia, part of IBM Consulting, seeks a Finance & Administration Delivery - Operations Manager (Chinese Bilingual) in Petaling Jaya. You will lead three operational teams, ensure compliant outputs, manage SLAs/KPIs, and escalate complex issues across procurement, AP, and vendor management.

You will build talent through coaching and drive process improvements. You’ll work with ERP platforms like SAP/Oracle, Coupa/Ariba/Concur, and Excel/PowerPoint for reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years in Finance Shared Services, BPO, or Accounts Payable ops, preferably in regulated/healthcare.
• 1–3 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead three operational teams day-to-day, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant outputs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls and audit requirements.
• Own and report on SLA and KPI performance, identifying gaps and driving corrective action.
• Act as final escalation point for complex issues spanning procurement, accounts payable, vendor management, and finance systems.
• Coach and develop team through performance reviews and development plans.
• Present clear operational reports to Senior Management weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Identify and lead process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Ensure all operations meet internal audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements (SOX or similar).
• Serve as main contact for internal partners, finance controllers, IT, and external vendors.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
• Support transition, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Prepare operational reports and analyze performance trends for improvements.
