VIP Edu HQ Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager for Finance & Accounts to lead financial analysis and reporting across a multi-outlet education group. You will read the numbers, explain trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve margins and cash flow, reporting to the Managing Director.

You will build outlet-level P&L dashboards, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and lead a small finance team.

Qualifications

Must have degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualifications preferred (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
At least 4 years in accounting/finance with solid full-set accounts knowledge.
Hands-on experience in management reporting, budgeting or financial analysis.
1–2 years of experience leading or supervising a team.

Responsabilités

Prepare monthly executive summary for leadership covering key numbers, trends, risks and recommendations.
Build and maintain outlet-level P&L and dashboards.
Analyze cost structure, margins and key financial ratios across outlets and business lines.
Track tuition fee collection rate and AR ageing; work with branches to improve them.
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
Model financial impact of new outlets, pricing changes and investments.
Monitor cash flow and plan working capital needs.
Lead and develop a small finance team (Accounts Executive and AR Admin).
Review group consolidation and external accounting work; strengthen controls and automate processes where possible.
