Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to own P&L for assigned outlets and drive sales, cost control, and staff development.

You will manage supervisors, enforce SOPs, coordinate with central kitchen, and report to the Director, while leading onboarding of new outlets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of management experience in F&B, multi-unit experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cost control, inventory, and staff management.
• Proficient with basic reporting tools (Google Sheets, POS/inventory systems).
• High integrity with financial oversight and independent decision-making.
• Willing to undergo reference checks as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee P&L for outlets, including sales targets and cost control.
• Lead and develop supervisors and crew: hiring, training, scheduling, appraisals.
• Enforce SOPs for food quality, service standards, and cash handling.
• Coordinate with central kitchen on stock forecasting and PAR-based orders.
• Prepare regular sales, cost, and staff reports to the Director.
• Identify operational risks and cost anomalies proactively.
• Support onboarding of new outlets with training and SOP rollout.
• Report directly to the Director.

Job description

Full P&L accountability for assigned outlet(s): sales targets, COGS, labor cost, and wastage control

Manage supervisors and crew, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews

Enforce SOPs for food quality, service standards, and cash-handling controls

Coordinate with central kitchen on stock forecasting and ordering (PAR-based system)

Prepare and submit regular reporting on sales, costs, and staff issues to Director

Identify and flag operational risks, cost anomalies, or policy breaches proactively

Support onboarding of new outlets during expansion (training, setup, SOP rollout)

Reports directly to Director

Requirements:

Comfortable with basic reporting tools (Google Sheets, POS/inventory systems)
