Job summary

Motul Asia Pacific is seeking a Finance & Accounts Executive to support daily finance operations in Malaysia. You will handle AR/AP, GL, costing and pricing activities, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

The role requires 2+ years in finance, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems. You will collaborate with sales and procurement, contributing to process improvements and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting/ Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of finance/accounting experience in Malaysia.
• Strong AR/AP/GL knowledge and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Record payments from customers in ERP and manage AR activities.
• Issue invoices/credit notes and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare customer aging reports and assist DSO improvement.
• Monitor customer credit limits and release orders as needed.
• Process end-to-end AP and vendor reconciliations.
• Conduct month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
• Support statutory compliance and ERP/system improvement initiatives.
