Job summary

Mayshowa Group of Companies is seeking an Accounts Executive to maintain full financials and manage daily accounting operations at our Kepong, Malaysia location. You will post transactions, support accounts payable/receivable, and prepare monthly and statutory reports.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Business or part professional qualification with at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably with GL/AR exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business or part professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar field.
• Preferably from General Ledger and/or Accounts Receivables background.
• Chinese language proficiency preferred for overseas communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of financial accounts and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Perform accurate transaction posting for journal vouchers, payments and receipts into the accounting system.
• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare monthly financial, management, statutory, and ad hoc reports.
• Adhere to financial policies, internal controls, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government agencies.
