Job summary

Terumo Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a finance professional to manage the full spectrum of AP and AR, GL, fixed assets, and month-end close, ensuring accurate financial records across the business unit.

You will collaborate with auditors and regulators, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive process improvements within a regional finance context to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance; professional accreditation a plus.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience; regional/MNC exposure advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Handle fixed assets, bank transactions, journal entries, accruals and depreciation.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing per reporting timelines.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules for review.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Monitor AP/AR aging; ensure timely collections and payables settlement.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning; provide analysis.
