Job summary

Hairstory International in Penang is seeking an entry-level accountant to support day-to-day finance operations. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, prepare invoices and vouchers, and perform bank reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain proper accounting records.
• Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting matters and statutory payments where required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant parties when necessary.
• Assist in other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
