Umay Hometex Products Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Accounting Manager to lead finance and accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen cash flow control.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, monitor expenses and profitability, ensure SST/tax compliance, and coordinate with auditors and bankers while developing internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with management experience.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST and statutory requirements.
• Strong skills in Excel and accounting software.
• ACCA / CPA / MIA qualification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, independent, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting and financial planning.
• Monitor company expenses, profitability and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax, SST, audit and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, banks and company secretary.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures and SOPs.
• Provide management with clear financial analysis and business insights.
• Identify problems and improve accounting processes and efficiency.
