Job summary

Sinergia Talents is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the finance department in Malaysia. You will oversee payroll, invoicing, reporting, budgeting, cashflow planning, and risk management while aligning with strategic business goals.

The role requires 6–8 years of progressive financial management experience and professional certifications such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA. Strong MS Excel and accounting software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or Economics is required.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or similar is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily financial transactions including payroll, invoicing, payables and receivables and manage loan documentation and facility applications.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, notes, variance analysis).
• Create financial models, forecast company finances and establish budgeting guidelines for departments.
• Monitor and optimise cashflow and credit facilities across the group.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and tax laws (MFRS, corporate tax).
• Analyse data and market trends to support long-term business goals and cost-reduction efforts.
• Lead, train and mentor the finance and accounting team.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and senior management to present financial performance.
