Job summary

Sim Leisure Escape Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to manage the full set of accounts and support month-end closing, financial reporting and tax compliance in a dynamic hospitality environment.

You will consolidate statements, monitor cash flow and coordinate with auditors, while assisting with budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to improve processes and controls. A degree in accounting and hands-on ERP/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash book and Fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, year-end closing and consolidation adjustment entries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and monitor cash flow and outstanding balances.
• Prepare information for corporate tax, E-invoice, entertainment tax, audit and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities when required.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Review financial results and explain significant variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.
