Job summary

Cairnhill Metrology Group in Shah Alam, Selangor invites qualified professionals for the role of Service Engineer in Industrial Metrology, Food & Pharma Industrial Solutions. You will service, install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on a range of metrology equipment.

Candidates should hold a recognized degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, have 3–5 years of service experience (fresh graduates encouraged), possess a driving

Responsibilities

• Service a wide range of Industrial, Advanced and Portable Metrology equipment including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance and calibrations.
• Update CRM in a timely manner for follow-up and teamwork support.
• Report to the Service or Branch Manager or as assigned.
• Occasionally support installations in other parts of Malaysia or overseas.

SERVICE ENGINEER (INDUSTRIAL METROLOGY, FOOD & PHARMA INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS)

Responsibilities:

• Service the range of Industrial, Advanced and Portable Metrology that we sell for dimensional measurement, defects analysis, quality and reverse engineering. Service the range of in-line checkweighers, X-ray and metal detectors that we sell for automated weight, hazard point and quality control for food, pharma and industrial applications. This includes installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance and calibrations.

• Perform work assignments efficiently and methodically, and in its course, also keep in touch with customers to actively improve customer satisfaction with us/our products.

• Update CRM on a timely and effective basis for team-wide follow-up and teamwork support.

• Report to the Service or Branch Manager or as assigned.

• At times, you may be required to support installations in other parts of Malaysia or overseas

Pre-requisites:

• Recognised Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in service preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• A “service heart” with good knowledge of instrumentation and deriving satisfaction in getting systems back into operations efficiently and effectively.

• An interest in metrology and quality as a deliverer of manufacturing competitiveness.

• A team player with strong interpersonal communication skills, high integrity and discipline. Have your own car transport
