Job summary

IPS Software Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site hardware installation, maintenance and basic troubleshooting at customer outlets across Johor and other outstation sites as required.

The role includes company-transported travel, planning routes, ensuring punctual arrivals, and delivering quality service while maintaining safety, clear client communication, and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
Good work ethic, punctual, and a team player.
Flexible working hours when required.
Independent, well-organized, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Travel for outstation service when required (company transport provided).
Ensure punctual arrival for scheduled appointments and service assignments.
Plan routes effectively to avoid delays and traffic congestion.
Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tire pressure, engine condition, servicing schedule).
Be available for occasional overtime, weekend, or outstation travel if needed.
Responsible for on-site servicing of hardware at customer outlets.
Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of hardware equipment.
Carry out technical support tasks based on service requests.
Maintain good communication with clients to ensure quality service.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Able to work independently and solve basic technical issues.
