Job summary

SUPERSIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks an industrious engineer to supervise shift-based fab floor workflows, coordinate operator logistics and material staging, and manage machine queues to meet daily Move Targets.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in industrial/mechanical/mechatronics engineering with CGPA 3.00+, and have Lean/Six Sigma exposure. Open to fresh grads or those with 1–2 years of experience, including semiconductor internship experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field with CGPA 3.00+.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of technical manufacturing experience acceptable.
• Experience in semiconductor wafer fab or cleanroom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift-based fab floor workflows and operator logistics.
• First-responder to bottlenecks, tool downs or blockages, implementing EAP.
• Enforce 5S, EHS, and LOTO compliance on the shop floor.
• Track and present KPIs (WIP, tool utilization, cycle time) during handovers.
• Manage shift rosters and cross-training for multi-skilled staging.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement to reduce waste.
• Support engineering during new equipment installations.
