Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform on-site services at customer sites in Malaysia, focusing on water treatment and system maintenance.

You will conduct water analyses, monitor chemical injection, troubleshoot on-site issues, and participate in field training to build technical expertise, while developing strong customer rapport and understanding client operations for area growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Applied Chemistry from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cooling, boiler and wastewater treatment applications.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must possess own car with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water analysis and ensure chemical injection systems are in good condition.
• Provide troubleshooting at customer sites and other field-related services.
• Participate in field-training and develop technical and application knowledge.
• Build customer rapport and understand customers' operations to support area growth.
• Maintain Veolia Water Tech reputation at the customer level.
• Service assigned accounts at prescribed frequency and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Support the commercial team in sales activities.

• Maintain chemical inventories to prevent outages at customer sites.

Job Description
The Field Service Representative is responsible for service function at the customers site
assigned to him / her, under the direction of the Area / Account Manager. Responsibility include
conducting routine water analysis, ensuring chemicals injection system in good condition,
provide troubleshooting at customers site and other field related services assigned to him / her.
This individual is responsible for his / her participation in the field-training program, including
acquiring all assigned technical, application knowledge and guide the entry level FSR/ field
technician. He / she is responsible for developing customer rapport and goodwill, for learning
and understanding the customers’ operations, and contribute to the area growth.

Job Responsibilities

• To ensure a good Veolia Water Tech reputation at the customer level.
• To ensure that all assigned accounts are serviced at the prescribed frequency. Services work includes conducting water analysis, ensuring chemical injection systems are in good conditions, providing troubleshooting support and other field-related services assigned to the field representative.
• To maintain a high standard of service and customer satisfaction so that no customer complaints originate because of poor quality service.
• Interface primarily with assigned key customers for all matters concerning Veolia products and services and total support. Ensuring that both customer and Veolia objectives are met.
• Respond to all customer inquires in a timely manner on the processing of customer orders, acknowledgements, Purchase Order amendments, and alteration notification.
• To support commercial team in sales activities
• To develop product application knowledge and system knowledge. To ensure that preventive troubleshooting is adequately performed in all accounts and that only technically correct recommendations are made to clients.
• To acquire necessary communication and organizational skills. To maintain effective communication with the Area or Account Manager so that they are continually aware of all personal, business and training requirements.
• To maintain all chemical inventories up to date so that product outage does not occur at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in chemical engineering or applied chemistry.
• At least 5 years of working experience in cooling, boiler, and wastewater treatment applications (including RO membrane monitoring and chemical application) in water treatment industries, petrochemical plants, or oil & gas related industries.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess own transport (car), a valid driver's license, and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
