Job summary

Salvagnini South Asia Sdn Bhd seeks a field service professional based in Malaysia to join our customer service team. You will report to the customer service manager and work with 8 engineers to install, start-up, maintain, repair and train users on our systems.

After comprehensive training with senior engineers, you will ensure high machine availability and exceptional service quality for industrial customers, representing Salvagnini with professionalism and proactivity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering field.
• Valid driving license (D) and ability to obtain a passport.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
• Good command of English and computer skills (MS Office).
• Experience with multinational companies is an added advantage.

Job description

Based in your area you'll report to customer service manager and work with the 8 engineers. After a complete training program with our senior engineers and in the field, you will be responsible for the installation, start-up maintenance, repair and training of our systems. Our industrial customer expected high machine availability and a very high service quality.

In additional to your technical skills (basic mechanical, electro-mechanical and hydraulic) as Salvagnini's ambassador you will have to manage relationship. Those include professionalism, serious, discretion, proactivity.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Valid driving license (D) and ability to obtain a passport


• Ability to travel domestically and internationally in short notice, frequent travel


• Ability to work with minimal supervision both independently and in a team environment


• Diploma or Degree in Engineering field


• Good command in English


• Good computer knowledge and Microsoft Office


• Preferred: Good mechanical proficiency with hand tools


• Working experience with multinational companies is an added advantage
