Job summary

Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Planner & Coordinator (Field Coordinator) to support daily site and field activities for engineering, maintenance, project and operations work.

You will coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, work schedules and site requirements to ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently and per approved plans. The role involves close collaboration with Supervisors, Engineers, Technicians, Contractors, Operations and HSE to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, SPM or equivalent required.
• Experience in field coordination, site operations, engineering, maintenance, construction or similar roles is a plus.
• Basic understanding of PTW, JSA, HIRARC and safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field and site activities according to approved work schedules and priorities.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, materials, and other resources required for field activities.
• Liaise with Supervisors, Engineers, Technicians, contractors and relevant departments to ensure work is properly planned and executed.
• Monitor work progress and provide updates on completed, ongoing, and outstanding activities.
• Assist in coordinating site access, work locations, permits, equipment and other operational requirements.
• Ensure required materials, tools and equipment are available at the work site before commencement.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with PTW, JSA, HIRARC and safety requirements.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, unsafe conditions, resource shortages or other constraints to the relevant Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, work progress, materials, equipment and site documentation.
• Coordinate with HSE personnel to support toolbox meetings, site inspections and safety requirements.
• Assist in coordinating contractors and monitoring their site activities.
• Support site housekeeping and ensure work areas are safe and orderly.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and project progress reports as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.
