Job summary

Gradiant, a global water solutions provider, seeks an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support daily operations and maintenance of client-site water and wastewater treatment plants. You will conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, ensuring plant reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in operations, maintenance, service engineering, or industrial plant environments; fresh graduates with internships welcome.
• Basic understanding of water or wastewater treatment processes is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, pumps, valves, piping, electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work primarily at customer sites and travel as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; proactive and organized.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants at client sites.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of process equipment.
• Monitor plant performance and identify operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams or vendors for corrective maintenance.
• Record maintenance activities and service reports accurately and timely.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and minor commissioning tasks.
• Support site surveys, maintenance planning, and technical discussions with customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams about maintenance activities.
• Participate in on-call support or emergency maintenance when required.
