Sailun Tire Malaysia Sdn Bhd provides on-site technical support at the Proton customer site to ensure stable tyre supply and smooth production operations.
The role involves installation, fitting, inspection and troubleshooting, with strong emphasis on timely issue resolution and maintaining long-term customer relationships, including sharing tyre knowledge and maintenance guidance.
Responsible for providing on-site technical support, customer service and problem-solving at the Proton customer site, ensuring stable tyre supply and smooth production operations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Provide on-site technical support for tyre-related issues, including installation, fitting, inspection and troubleshooting.
Record, analyse and follow up on customer issues, and coordinate with relevant internal departments to implement solutions.
Follow up on on-site issues and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain good communication with Proton's on-site personnel and understand customer requirements and expectations.
Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide professional and effective on-site support.
Maintain positive and long-term customer relationships.
Provide customers with basic tyre product knowledge, usage guidelines and maintenance advice.
Provide on-site technical guidance when required to ensure proper use and maintenance of tyre products.
Collect market trends, competitor information and customer requirements from the customer site.
Provide timely feedback on market trends and customer requirements to the Sales, Technical, Quality and other relevant departments.
Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Quality, Production and other relevant departments to resolve customer issues.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
Provide regular updates to the supervisor on on-site activities and customer issues.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor related to OE customer service and on-site support.
Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automation, Automotive Technology or related disciplines.
At least 1 year of experience in automotive, automotive components, tyre, manufacturing or production-related environments.
Basic knowledge of automotive, tyre products or automotive component production processes.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good command of English with strong communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Willing to be stationed at the Proton customer site on a long-term basis.
Able to adapt to the customer’s on-site working environment and work arrangements.
Proactive, responsible and customer-oriented.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.
