Job summary

ALL RING TECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an Engineer FAE/SOFTWARE/MECHANICAL to join our dynamic engineering team on a full-time basis in Sungai Jawi, Penang. This role bridges field application engineering, software development and mechanical design to deliver innovative technical solutions and support product development objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Software, Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE), Software Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or technology environment
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Python, Java or similar
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues systematically
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT or hardware-software integration is advantageous
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive field application support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues and offering solutions across software and mechanical systems
• Collaborate with product development teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and design implementations
• Develop, test and optimise software solutions that integrate seamlessly with mechanical systems and hardware
• Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders on product functionality and best practices
• Perform mechanical design analysis, simulation and validation to ensure product reliability and performance
• Document technical processes, specifications and solutions to create knowledge resources for the organisation
• Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation based on customer feedback and field experience
• Support the sales team with technical presentations, demonstrations and proposal development
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues and resolutions
