We are seeking a Field Application Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) at MTEK TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. for the semiconductor thermal interconnect field.

You will support customer evaluations, drive process improvements, and work closely with engineering teams to advance our technology and product reliability. The role requires hands-on laboratory experience, strong analytical skills, and effective communication. Mandarin fluency is essential for liaison with associates and customers in a multinational

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must for liaison with associates.
• Fundamental knowledge in semiconductor processes and automation (preferred).
• Hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Lead new process development initiatives in semiconductor applications.
• Conduct evaluation and testing on customer samples.
• Perform analysis and testing of electronic components in lab environments.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in laboratory environments and a solid engineering foundation. You will be responsible for improving processes, developing new methods, and supporting customer evaluations to advance our technology and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and performance


• Lead new process development initiatives in semiconductor applications


• Conduct evaluation and testing on customer samples


• Perform analysis and testing of electronic components in lab environments


• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate systems seamlessly
