Job summary

Maxis is seeking a professional to manage permitting activities for fiber OSP rollout in Malaysia. You will coordinate with vendors, local councils and authorities to ensure timely permits, reviews, and deposits processing. Strong relationships with JKR, PBT and landlords are essential.

You will work with Permitting Lead and Project Manager to ensure compliance with guidelines and timely reporting, ending with deposit recoveries within the two-year window.

Qualifications

• Experience with permitting procedures across authorities (e.g., JKR, PBT, Land Office)
• Strong technical background in Fiber OSP rollout
• Proven ability to manage vendor permitting activities and reporting to leads

Responsibilities

• Manage permitting activities by vendors; provide weekly progress updates.
• Escalate to vendors management and report to Permitting Lead and Permitting Project Manager.
• Build and maintain relationships with road owners (local councils, JKR, landlords).
• Oversee permitting submissions; review technical proposals for guideline compliance.
• Monitor CPC acceptance and trigger deposit refunds from PBT & JKR.
• Track project progress, escalate issues, and report to Permitting Lead.
• Oversee deposit recovery from LC's/JKR to complete within 2 years.
