The Poultry Farm Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a poultry farm, including monitoring chicken health and welfare, ensuring proper feeding and hygiene standards, supervising farm workers, and maintaining comprehensive farm records and reports.
Visit and inspect the poultry farm regularly.
Monitor the health and overall condition of chickens.
Monitor chicken behaviour and well-being.
Ensure chickens are properly fed and have sufficient food and clean water.
Monitor chicken body and growth performance.
Monitor and record daily mortality rates.
Monitor feed consumption and feed usage (FCR).
Ensure chicken houses and farm areas are clean, hygienic and well maintained.
Check for signs of disease or unusual conditions and report to management.
Monitor and maintain vaccination and medication records.
Responsible, hardworking and willing to work in a poultry farm environment.
Good observation and communication skills.
Able to supervise workers and manage daily farm activities.
Good understanding of poultry health, feeding and farm hygiene.
Basic computer skills for maintaining farm records.
Willing to travel between farms when required.
Experience in poultry farming or farm management will be an advantage.
