Job summary

PMW INTERNATIONAL BERHAD is seeking a Project Engineer (Planning & Cost Control) to lead the factory construction planning and cost control for the spun pile manufacturing facility. You will manage master schedules, cost control, and progress reporting while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing or related field.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in project planning, control, or manufacturing planning.
• Experience in factory construction or industrial project development is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project master schedule for the factory construction and development.
• Prepare detailed work programmes covering civil, structural, M&E, machinery installation, utilities, commissioning and other project activities.
• Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify schedule delays.
• Review contractors' work programmes and assess their alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Establish and maintain the project cost control system.
• Prepare cost reports and highlight significant variances to management.
• Coordinate resource requirements with contractors and project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress and outstanding activities.
• Assist in evaluating the financial impact of project changes.
