Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Leader to guide a production team and ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and high productivity in a dynamic EMS environment.

You will drive process improvements, optimize resources, and promote Lean initiatives across the plant while coordinating with multiple departments to meet customer requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• EEM/EMM: Degree/Diploma, preferable in Manufacturing/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• ECH: Graduate form technical FH/University preferable in electronics
• Minimum 10 years similar working experience in an EMS environment, with at least 3 years at managerial level

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor and supervise a manufacturing team to meet production plan.
• Establish and maintain a competitive production department and continuously improve processes and employees to achieve operational excellence.
• Maximize productivity and optimize utilization rates.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes; set standard time and production costing.
• Propose automation or improved equipment to boost efficiency and quality.
• Organise layouts for new product lines and maintain plant facilities.
• Ensure training of production team and continuous improvement of subordinates.
• Lead Lean initiatives and contribute to management targets.
• Monitor and control Work-In-Progress inventory.
• Establish internal controls to enhance productivity and quality.
• Identify technology and capex needs for future plans.
• Maintain 5S in all production areas.
• Liaise with authorities to meet regulations.
• Deliver world-class services: quality, on-time shipments, cost competitiveness.
