Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (DL – PENANG) SDN BHD is seeking a Facilities Technician to manage preventive and corrective maintenance for plant equipment and building services in Penang. You will monitor electrical distribution, HVAC, chillers, pumps, and other services to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, air compressors, chillers, pumps, and building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willing to work on shifts if required.
• Possession of a valid A0 Chargeman Certificate by ST Malaysia is advantageous.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures.

Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance activities.

Support daily facility operations to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production support.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Facilities Management, or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance, building services, or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, air compressors, chillers, pumps, and building maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Willing to work on shifts if required.

Possession of a valid A0 Chargeman Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Malaysia will be an added advantage.
