Job summary

Jstar Motion Sdn. Bhd invites applications for a Facility Technician position at our Kulai, Johor facility. The role focuses on maintaining machine and facility equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance.

You will respond promptly to breakdowns and coordinate with contractors where needed. Qualifications include a Certificate/Diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of maintenance experience, with extra points for PLC knowledge and experience

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering is required.
• At least 2 years of maintenance-related experience.
• Basic PLC knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with automated machines is preferred.
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge; hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery and facility equipment are in good working condition.
• Provide prompt response to inquiries or requests during breakdowns and resolve issues.
• Check, inspect and observe machinery and equipment installations and operations.
• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment by implementing maintenance schedule.
• Housekeeping in work area and comply with production safety regulations.
• Supervise contractors to meet safety rules and quality standards.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

We are a multi-national company involved developing, manufacturing and marketing for intelligent and ergonomic products, located in I-park Industrial area, Kulai, Johor. We are looking to hire for Facility Technician.

Responsibilities

• You will need to ensure all machinery and facility equipment are in good working condition.
• You need to provide prompt response to inquiries or request whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue.
• You will be checking, inspecting and observing machinery and equipment installations and operations.
• You will need to provide preventive and predictive maintenance checking and servicing on equipment by implementing maintenance schedule.
• You will need to do housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance production safety regulations.
• You will be supervising the work done by contractors by adhering to the safety rules and the quality meet company requirement.
• You should undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess at least Certificate/Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience related in Maintenance.
• Knowledge in Preventive Maintenance, Machine and Equipment Maintenance troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Good in electrical and mechanical knowledge and do hands on job
• Experience working with automated machine.
• Basic PLC knowledge will be an advantage.
• Experience with IET's will be an advantage.
