Job summary

Jstar Motion in Kulai, Johor is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain and service machinery and facilities, ensuring safety and smooth production. You will handle breakdowns, inspections, and preventive maintenance with hands-on electrical and mechanical skills.

To succeed, candidates should have an engineering certificate/diploma and at least 2 years in maintenance, with exposure to automated machinery; PLC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance and machine/equipment maintenance troubleshooting.
• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge and hands-on ability.
• Experience working with automated machinery.
• Basic PLC knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with IETs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery and facility equipment are in good working condition.
• Provide prompt response to inquiries or requests whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue.
• Check, inspect, and observe machinery and equipment installations and operations.
• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance checking and servicing on equipment by implementing maintenance schedule.
• Do housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance production safety regulations.
• Supervise the work done by contractors by adhering to the safety rules and the quality meet company requirement.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

You will play an important role in:

• Ensure all machinery and facility equipment are in good working condition.
