Job summary

Sentronics Precision Industry (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a maintenance professional to manage factory utility systems, including air, water, HVAC, and drainage. The role involves daily inspection, operation, and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous production support.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults, assist with equipment installation and upgrades, monitor energy usage, and coordinate with external vendors for minor repairs, with standby duty beyond

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, operation, and maintenance of factory utility systems.
• Inspect and maintain compressed air systems, HVAC, chilled water, and water supply.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faults.
• Support production lines by ensuring stable supply of utilities.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during and after working hours (standby duty).
• Assist Facility Engineers in installation, modification, and upgrading projects.
• Monitor and record utility consumption data for energy management.
• Supervise and guide external vendors or contractors during minor repair works.
• Maintain workshop tools, spare parts inventory, and service records.
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations in maintenance activities.

• Compressed air system (air compressors, dryers, piping)
• HVAC / air-conditioning and ventilation systems
• Chilled water and cooling tower systems
• Domestic and process water supply systems
• Drainage and wastewater systems
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faults in utility equipment.
• Support production lines by ensuring stable supply of utilities (air, water, cooling, etc.) to manufacturing areas.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during and after working hours (standby duty required).
• Assist Facility Engineers in installation, modification, and upgrading projects.
• Monitor and record utility consumption data (electricity, water, gas) for energy management.
