Job summary

Sentronics Precision Industry (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru invites an experienced Facility Manager to oversee operations across Factory 1 & 2, ensuring reliable utilities and safe, compliant environments. You will lead maintenance planning, supervise technicians and charging staff, and coordinate with production, quality and EHS to support manufacturing needs.

This hands-on role requires driving energy efficiency, resolving facility issues, managing external contractors, and reporting on uptime

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing facility operations and maintenance.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance schedules for utilities and electrical systems.
• Strong coordination with production, quality and EHS departments.
• Experience with budget monitoring and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall facility operations and maintenance across Factory 1 & 2.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all utility and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate facility technicians and charging staff (Chargemen).
• Coordinate with production, quality, and EHS departments to ensure facility systems support manufacturing requirements.
• Manage external contractors and service providers for facility-related projects and maintenance services.
• Monitor facility budgets, spare parts inventory, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure all facility operations comply with local regulatory requirements (including Suruhanjaya Tenaga, DOSH, DOE, etc.).
• Lead incident investigations related to facility failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly facility performance reports, including uptime, energy consumption, and maintenance KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for energy efficiency, system reliability, and cost reduction.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox meetings for the facility team.
• Support new equipment installation and plant expansion projects from a facility infrastructure perspective.
