Wonway Manufacturing in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily inspection and routine monitoring of facility equipment and utilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical/electrical repairs to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include recording maintenance activities, assisting contractors, and ensuring compliance with LO TOOSH and safety procedures.

Carry out daily inspection and routine monitoring of facility equipment, utilities, and building infrastructure.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) according to maintenance plans, checklists, and work instructions.
Carry out corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment and facility breakdowns.
Maintain and troubleshoot washing machines, dryers, air compressors, HVAC/split unit air conditioners, RO water systems, DI water systems, and other utility equipment.
Monitor basic operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, water quality, equipment condition, and abnormal noise/vibration.
Conduct routine inspection for water leakage, equipment damage, abnormal operation, and other facility defects.
Perform basic mechanical and electrical maintenance works, including replacement of components, adjustment, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Assist in RO system and water treatment maintenance, including monitoring of water quality readings and DI column condition.
Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of facility electrical systems, pumps, motors, control panels, and other related equipment.
Attend to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests to minimize equipment downtime and disruption to operations.
Record all maintenance activities, inspection findings, breakdowns, spare parts used, and corrective actions.
Follow up and report any equipment abnormalities or major defects to the Facility Executive.
Assist contractors and vendors during servicing, inspection, repair, installation, and upgrading works.
Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures, LOTO requirements, OSH requirements, and applicable work instructions.
Assist with facility improvement and upgrading projects, including installation and modification of utility systems.
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of maintenance areas, equipment rooms, utility rooms, and work areas.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Support fire protection system inspections, fire drills, safety inspections, and other facility/OSH activities when required.
Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties assigned by the Facility Executive or management
