Job summary

MY SEMI PRECISION SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Facility Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of facility systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The role covers surface treatment, WWTP, HVAC and cleanrooms, DI water, and building utilities to ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor/electronics/manufacturing or data center/cleanroom environments.
• Strong knowledge of surface treatment, wastewater, HVAC and cleanroom tech, DI water/UPW systems, and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surface treatment systems including electroplating, anodizing, degreasing, and chemical dosing systems.
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant and monitor processes like neutralization, chemical precipitation, flocculation, filtration, and sludge dewatering.
• Maintain HVAC systems supporting manufacturing and cleanroom operations, including AHUs, filtration, temperature, humidity, and pressurization control.
• Oversee DI/UPW water systems, including RO/ultra-pure water, softeners, filtration, and distribution networks.
• Monitor plant utilities: mechanical (chillers, cooling towers, compressors, gases, steam) and electrical (HT/LV, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators).
• Maintain facility infrastructure: buildings, warehouses, fire/safety/security systems, and building fabric.
• Develop and implement PM programs and support predictive maintenance using vibration analysis, thermography, RCA, and condition monitoring.
• Lead facility engineering projects from concept to commissioning, including specs, RFQs, budgets, FAT/SAT, and qualification.
• Ensure environmental compliance with ISO 14001/45001; conduct risk assessments, PTW and LOTO procedures.
