ADV Precision Industries Sdn is seeking a diligent Facilities Maintenance Manager in Penang to oversee the maintenance of plant facilities, utilities, electrical and mechanical systems, and production equipment. You will implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

You will lead a team of Facility Technicians, coordinate with production and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards

Qualificações

• Ability to interpret electrical and utility drawings.
• Hands-on fault diagnosis and repair skills.
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting.
• Good communication with production teams and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees maintenance of plant facilities, utilities, electrical and mechanical systems and production equipment.
• Develops preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs and reliability initiatives.
• Attends to maintenance requests from other departments and ensures timely completion.
• Oversees facility expansion, plant layout, and related safety, sustainability and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoots and coordinates repair of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepares maintenance reports, records and compliance documents as required.
• Manages maintenance spare parts inventory to ensure availability and control.
• Trains and guides Facility Technicians to build a competent, motivated team.
• Ensures equipment complies with legal, regulatory, health, safety, sustainability and environmental requirements.
• Maintains proper housekeeping and conducts 5S audits in the factory.
• Identifies opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Leads plant as EHS coordinator and complies with OSHA and corporate requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Responsible for the overall maintenance, reliability, and efficient operation of plant facilities, utilities, electrical and mechanical systems, and various production equipment.
• Develops and implements preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, sustainability tasks and improvement plans to minimize equipment failures, prevent plant interruptions & plant improvements.
• Attends to job orders and maintenance requests from other departments and ensures timely completion of required maintenance activities.
• Oversees the implementation and maintenance of facility expansion, plant layout, utilities, facility systems, and related safety, sustainability, quality and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and coordinates the repair of electrical, mechanical, facility, utility, and production equipment to ensure smooth and reliable daily operations.
• Prepares maintenance reports, records, technical documentation, and other compliance documents as required.
• Manages and controls maintenance spare parts inventory, including oils, lubricants, and other maintenance consumables, to ensure adequate availability and effective inventory control.
• Trains, guides, and oversees Facility Technicians to develop a competent, disciplined, and highly motivated team with good morale.
• Ensures related equipment are compliant with applicable legal, regulatory, health, safety, sustainability and environmental requirements.
• Ensures proper housekeeping within areas of responsibility and conducts 5S audits within the factory as required.
• Identifies opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement within the Facilities and Maintenance function.
• To lead plant in terms of EHS coordinator, comply to related OSHA regulations & Corporate requirements.
• To carry out tasks & implement requirements from legal requirement & Corporate requirements.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Competency Requirement

• Able to interpret electrical drawings and utility layout drawings, practical hands on fault diagnosis skill.
• Competent in Microsoft Office for generating reports and maintaining records.
• Good communication skill to coordinate with production team, contractors and other internal departments.
• High safety awareness; willing to perform on call duty for after hours facility emergency.
• Experience in managing people will be added advantage for career advancement.
