Job summary

Brocent Cloud Service Co., Limited is seeking a hands-on Data Center Facilities Operator to manage day-to-day on-site operations of data center infrastructure. You will perform routine data hall inspections to ensure stable and safe operation of facility systems.

You will drive Level 1–4 facility changes, participate in change maintenance and drills, monitor alarms, and generate operation reports. Associate degree or above with 2+ years in data center O&M is preferred; Chinese language

Qualifications

• Associate degree or above in electrical/electromechanical engineering, HVAC or automation preferred.
• 2+ years data center facility O&M experience in IDC, telecom, or financial data halls.
• Familiar with power systems: transformers, diesel gens, UPS, PDU.
• Familiar with data center HVAC fundamentals and CRAH/CRAC operation.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems and alarms.
• Understanding data hall environment: temp, humidity, leak detection, airflow.
• Able to perform routine data hall inspections and identify alarms and anomalies.
• Support facility change maintenance: pre-change checks, on-site follow-up, confirmation.
• Initial grading of facility events and on-site issue tracking per procedures.
• Use monitoring systems to review parameters and alarms.
• Utilize O&M systems (DCOPS or ticketing) for tickets and inspection records.
• Produce inspection and change records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of day-to-day on-site operations of data center infrastructure; perform routine data hall inspections.
• Drive Level 1–4 facility changes, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
• Participate in facility change maintenance and drills; verify construction steps and rollback conditions.
• Attend operator meetings to align daily change plans and maintenance matters; maintain issue lists.
• Respond to facility events based on alarms; assist with initial handling and escalation.
• Perform monthly and data-hall inspections; assess operation status with the operator.
• Manage submission and implementation of Level 3–4 changes for controlled execution.
• Follow up on health assessments; drive rectification and closure of issues.
• Attend monthly meetings to discuss O&M status and future work plans.
• Produce daily/weekly operation reports; track operator on-site personnel changes.
• Submit next-day work plans for review based on change and maintenance plans.
• Assist in compiling and translating overseas data hall EOPs to support cross-region execution.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and records for inspections and changes.

Job description

- Take charge of day-to-day on-site operations of data center infrastructure; perform routine data hall inspections to ensure stable and safe operation of facility systems.

- Follow up and drive the implementation and maintenance of Level 1–4 facility changes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and operating standards.

- Participate in and execute facility change maintenance and drills; verify on site the implementation of construction steps, isolation measures and rollback conditions.

- Participate in regular meetings with the operator; align on daily change plans, pending issues and maintenance matters; maintain issue lists and drive process digitalization.

- Respond to facility-related events based on monitoring system alarms; assist with initial handling, analysis and escalation.

- Perform monthly facility inspections and data-hall-level inspections; jointly inspect facility operation status and on-site management with the operator.

- Manage the submission and implementation of Level 3 and Level 4 changes to ensure controlled and traceable change execution.

- Follow up pending issues from facility health assessments and special inspections; drive rectification and closure.

- Attend monthly meetings with the operator to communicate O&M status, rectification progress and future work plans.

- Produce facility operation daily/weekly reports as required; collect and synchronize key information such as operator on-site personnel changes.

- Submit next-day work plans daily for review and confirmation based on change and maintenance plans.

- Assist in the compilation, optimization and Chinese-English translation of overseas data hall EOPs to enhance emergency response and cross-region execution.

Qualifications

1. Associate degree or above; majors in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, HVAC or automation preferred.

2. At least 2 years of data center facility O&M experience; experience in data centers or large critical infrastructure (IDC, telecom data halls, financial data halls, etc.).

3. Familiar with the basic composition of data center power systems, including transformers, diesel generators, UPS and PDU.

4. Familiar with data center HVAC fundamentals, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC equipment operation status identification.

5. Familiar with fire protection systems; able to identify fire alarms and VESDA system operation status.

6. Knowledge of basic data hall environment management requirements, including temperature/humidity, water leak detection and airflow organization.

7. Able to independently perform routine data hall inspections and identify equipment operation status, alarms and anomalies.

8. Able to support facility change maintenance, including pre-change preparation checks, on-site follow-up and change completion confirmation.

9. Able to perform initial grading of facility events and conduct on-site support and issue tracking per established procedures.

10. Able to use facility monitoring systems to review operating parameters and identify alarms.

11. Able to use O&M management systems (e.g., DCOPS or ticketing systems) to complete ticket handling and inspection records.

12. Good documentation skills; able to produce inspection records, change records, daily/weekly reports and other O&M documents.

13. Knowledge of data center O&M processes; familiar with the change management system and able to participate in and drive Level 1–4 changes.

14. Familiar with MOP, SOP, EOP and other operational documents; strong process compliance and risk control awareness.

15. Proficient in Chinese (or the local official language) in listening, speaking
