Job summary

Transpacc Property Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a capable Technician/Handyman to maintain building systems, equipment and facilities. You will monitor water readings, check equipment, report to the Building Manager, and perform ad-hoc tasks to keep sites operating smoothly.

The role requires practical hands-on skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to document service records and coordinate with M&E service providers while ensuring timely servicing and proper filing.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and basic electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Ability to read gauges and water readings.

Responsibilities

• Bulk water reading and water level reading on all blocks for all water tanks, morning and evening
• Rectify faults according to Guards incident report
• Ensure all risers are properly secured and all locks are in good condition
• Check all equipment to ensure they are in good running order
• Prepare reporting and submit to Building Manager on daily basis
• Monitor date of serving period of all M&E equipment and ensure all M&E equipment are serviced on time
• Ensure all repair works are completed and all timers are in order
• Monitor performance of renovation contractors especially on common areas and validity of renovation permit
• Ensure all service providers reports are properly documented and filed into respective files
• Ensure all service records and job sheets are provided after completing every service
• Ensure all services are done and completed in a professional manner
• Ensure that all notices are prepared to inform residents prior to servicing
• Follow all M&E service providers during their monthly servicing to ensure no parts are removed except for faulty parts and keep the service report
• Take readings of water consumption and submit to admin clerk 3 days before generating the monthly billings
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks and other assignments as directed by Management
