Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an experienced operations leader to plan and supervise daily service schedules, ensuring efficient workflows and timely deliveries. You will address operational issues, maintain service continuity, and act as the main liaison for key stakeholders with regular reviews.

The role also involves guiding staff, coordinating schedules, and coaching for performance, with focus on EHS compliance and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in service operations, team supervision, or account management—preferably within site, facility, or support service sectors.
• Practical understanding of standard workplace health and safety protocols (EHS).
• Familiarity with specialized site maintenance or exterior building upkeep is an advantage.
• Strong track record in supervising site staff, managing performance, conducting trainings, and handling team welfare.
• High proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Result-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with solid project management and client handling abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily service schedules to ensure efficient workflow, timely delivery, and proper record-keeping.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain service continuity.
• Serve as the main point of contact for key stakeholders. Conduct regular review meetings, handle inquiries or feedback, and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
• Lead, train, and support operational staff. Oversee team scheduling, performance appraisals, on-the-job coaching, and logistics such as transportation or accommodation arrangements where applicable.
• Perform regular site inspections to verify work quality and rectify any service gaps. Enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols to ensure a compliant and secure working environment.
• Support operational budget planning, track expenditure, and oversee site equipment, supplies, and materials to prevent shortages and optimize usage.
