Job summary

CBRE Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Manager in Shah Alam to lead a team overseeing the operations and maintenance of a portfolio of buildings. The role focuses on the day-to-day management, staffing, and delivery of maintenance programs to ensure reliable facilities and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate repairs, manage budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and build strong client relationships while driving efficiency under CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Advanced numerical and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training, evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities and deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians and vendors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; identify improvements.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and review price quotes for parts and services.
• Lead process training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
