Job summary

The role covers electrical, HVAC, water, scrubber and WWTP systems, with emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and timely coordination with contractors for servicing and upgrades.

• Routine inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical LV systems and distribution boards.
• Maintain HVAC systems including AHU, FCU and ventilation.
• Manage compressed air, water supply and related equipment.
• Operate scrubber systems and monitor WWTP with basic parameter control.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor utility consumption and log daily readings; support energy-saving efforts.
• Coordinate with external contractors for servicing, calibration and installation works.
• Supervise contractor activities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and reports; ensure safety compliance.

Job description

Operation & Maintenance of Facility Systems

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all facility and utility systems.

Ensure continuous and efficient operation of critical equipment.

Utility Systems Management

Electrical systems (LV systems, distribution boards, lighting)

HVAC systems (Air Handling Units, FCU, ventilation systems)

Compressed air systems (air compressors, dryers, piping)

Water supply systems (domestic water, pumps, tanks)

Process & Environmental Systems

Operate and maintain scrubber systems (e.g., acid/alkaline scrubbers for exhaust treatment).

Monitor exhaust ventilation systems and ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

Support operation and monitoring of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), including chemical dosing, sampling, and basic parameter control (pH, COD, etc.).

Ensure proper handling of scheduled waste and environmental control systems.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all facility equipment.

Attend to breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance promptly.

Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements.

Monitoring & Control

Monitor utilities consumption (electricity, water, compressed air).

Record daily readings and report abnormalities.

Assist in energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.

Liaise with external contractors for servicing, calibration, and installation works.

Supervise contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety and work standards.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain proper maintenance records, logs, and reports.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.

Safety & Emergency Response

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures.

Participate in emergency response (e.g., equipment failure, chemical leakage, fire incidents).

Improvement & Project Support

Support facility upgrading, expansion, and improvement projects.

Provide technical input for system optimization and reliability improvement.
