Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- 1. Job Purpose: Manages plant infrastructure, utility systems, cleanroom compliance, and authority approvals while strictly regulating operational budgets and expenses.
- 2. HVAC & Cleanroom Control: Operates and maintains chillers, AHUs, and BMS networks to guarantee rigid control over cleanroom temperature, humidity, particulate counts, and differential pressures.
- 3. Mechanical Utilities: Controls plant uptime through structured maintenance of Air Compressor systems (CDA loops) and Cooling Towers (water treatment chemistry and efficiency).
- 4. Electrical Infrastructure: Supervise high/low voltage electrical panels, distribution grids, switchgears, transformers, and emergency diesel generation testing.
- 5. ISO Documentation: Prepares and manages calibration records, facility log sheets, and engineering SOPs required to satisfy ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification metrics.
- 6. Local Authorities Liaison: Leads legal interactions with regional statutory bodies to manage compliance certificates, building permits, emissions tracking, and machinery safety clearances.
- 7. Budget & Financials: Controls annual OPEX and CAPEX planning, tracks utility billing (power, water, gas), runs energy-saving initiatives, and coordinates contractor cost-benefit proposals.
- 8. Cost-Savings & Projects: Conceptualizes and implements continuous improvement projects targeting energy conservation, waste reduction, and process automation to deliver tangible financial benefits to the company.
Position Requirement
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Five (5) years or more experience in maintenance job
Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC knowledge is a must
