Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Facilities Coordinator (Technical) to coordinate with clients, vendors and contractors, ensuring work orders are completed efficiently.

You will support property managers with repairs and investment plans, review work orders and schedules, and identify opportunities to optimize operations. A Diploma or Degree in engineering/building maintenance and 4+ years FM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering/building maintenance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of facilities management/coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of processes, procedures, systems within the role.
• Ability to communicate complex content clearly, concisely.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers, ensuring procedures are understood.
• Allocate work orders and schedule repairs from requests.
• Review data from work order reports and present performance updates to management.
• Review all work orders, proposals, and paperwork from vendors for accuracy and compliance.
• Inspect rooms and furniture to identify repair or renovation needs.
• Address minor malfunctions in office equipment.
• Research new services and appliances to improve operations.
• Analyze data to solve complex problems and suggest new techniques.
• Impact team performance and coordinate with related teams.
• Suggest process improvements to boost efficiency.
