Job summary

CBRE Malaysia is seeking a Building Executive to manage one leased office space and one site building in Petaling Jaya. You will oversee daily facilities operations, maintenance oversight, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with internal stakeholders, building management, and service providers.

This role requires hands-on technical competency, strong communication, and the ability to lead a small site team effectively.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field.
5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or M&E supervision.
Knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements related to building operations.
Experience managing officespaces, technical teams, and contractors.
Hands-on technical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and building upkeep.
Lead and support the on-site team (1 technician and 1 receptionist).
Prepare facility performance reports, contractor service reports, incident logs and updates.
Manage CBRE-assigned contractors for maintenance and inspections.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations such as DOSH and Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
