Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an HVAC Engineer (Electrical) to design, operate, and enhance building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing within a lithium battery cell plant.

You will lead maintenance programs, oversee projects, manage vendors and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement in facility performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in facility operation, maintenance, or improvement; manufacturing background preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and FMCS software.
• Exposure to electrical systems or an electrical engineering background required.
• Experience in lithium battery manufacturing plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Maintenance: manage routine and preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Project Management: oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure adherence to health, safety, env regulations and codes.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: coordinate external vendors and contractors for maintenance and projects.
• Budget Management: develop and manage budgets to support facility operations.
• Reporting & Analysis: monitor facility performance and prepare operational reports.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve efficiency and technology integration.
