Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced facilities engineer to review engineering designs and oversee quality, safety, schedule, and costs for industrial projects, while managing operations and maintenance of plant facilities including HVAC and electrical systems.

You will lead energy-efficiency initiatives, supervise technicians and contractors, and develop technical documentation such as SOPs and system manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering fields.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial plant construction, facilities management, or project management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and process piping.
• Experience in planning, design review, construction management, and project execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering design proposals and drawings and oversee quality, schedule, cost, and safety for projects.
• Manage operation, maintenance, and repair of plant facilities, including HVAC and electrical systems.
• Monitor energy consumption and develop energy-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee facility and property operation and maintenance activities to ensure stability, reliability, quality, and safety.
• Lead technical improvement and upgrading projects for factory facilities, including planning and execution of small-scale projects.
• Supervise and guide technicians and contractors in daily facility operation and maintenance activities.
• Develop and improve technical documentation including SOPs, MOPs, system manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to enhance skills of the facilities and maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies and training requirements.
