Job summary

FIT Pioneer Resources in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Facade QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality inspection and testing for both factory and on-site works on Johor and Singapore projects. You will ensure compliance with ITPs, method statements, and project requirements, coordinating with project teams, clients, main contractors, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain the quality management system.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering, experience in QA/QC for aluminium

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience in QA/QC works for aluminium facade, precast works, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of inspection procedures, testing requirements, and quality documentation.
• Mandarin proficiency required to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor quality inspection and testing activities in factory and on-site.
• Arrange witnessed inspections by the RTO in line with ITP and method statements.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on quality issues and improvements.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and consultants during QC inspections.
• Support teams in maintaining the project quality management system.
• Collaborate with engineers on quality matters and provide technical support.
• Prepare and submit inspection and testing reports to stakeholders.

Facade QA/QC Engineer (Johor and Singapore Projects)

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring quality inspection and testing activities for both factory and site works. This role ensures that all quality control processes are carried out in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), method statements, and project requirements. The QA/QC Engineer will also work closely with project teams, clients, main contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to resolve quality issues and maintain the project quality system.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor quality inspection and testing activities in both the factory and on-site.
• Arrange and coordinate inspection and testing activities witnessed by the RTO, in accordance with approved ITP and method statements.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on quality-related issues and continuous improvement measures.
• Coordinate and assist clients, main contractors, and consultants during QC inspections to resolve factory and site quality issues.
• Support project teams in maintaining and controlling the project quality management system.
• Work closely with factory and site engineers on quality matters, and provide technical support when required.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, testing reports, and other quality-related documentation to clients, main contractors, and consultants.

About you

• Relevant experience in QA/QC works for aluminium facade, precast works, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of inspection procedures, testing requirements, and quality documentation.
• Familiar with ITP, method statements, and project quality standards.

• Able to identify quality issues and propose practical corrective actions.
• Proficient in report preparation and documentation.
