Job summary

Jord International in Malaysia, Selangor, is seeking a Foreman to supervise daily fabrication and welding on the shop floor, ensuring work is safe, per approved drawings, WPS and project requirements, and within the planned schedule.

You will take ownership of manpower allocation, work monitoring, productivity, quality, and daily output recording, providing timely updates to Production Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
• Must read fabrication drawings and welding details.
• Knowledge of WPS, welding parameters, and consumables.
• Ability to supervise a team of welders, fabricators, and helpers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work and allocate manpower according to workload.
• Monitor fabrication, welding, and quality on shop floor.
• Record daily production output and downtime accurately.
• Ensure safety compliance with HSE requirements and PPE.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment issues.
• Handover at end of shift and report bottlenecks.
