Job summary

Trove Hotel Johor Bahru is seeking a Food & Beverage Captain to uphold service standards and lead guest interactions within the restaurant. You will work with the F&B team to greet guests, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction while promoting hotel dining experiences.

You will contribute to concept development, attend team meetings, and help train outlet staff, maintaining professionalism and strong relationships with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing service standards in a restaurant environment.
• Strong guest service orientation and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Awareness of restaurant revenue indicators and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, planning, and implementing service standards in the restaurant.
• Continuously suggest and assist in developing new concepts.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant and hotel features, services, rates, and promotions.
• Attend communications meetings with restaurant and F&B teams.
• Greets guests and takes guest orders.
• Check customer satisfaction regularly; respond promptly to guest concerns.
• Recognize employees’ feedback on operations and factors affecting their roles.
• Analyze restaurant revenue trends.
• Assist in outlet trainings.
• Maintain highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards clients and colleagues.
• Develop strong, productive relationships with internal and external guests.
• Maintain equipment and supplies per level.
• Establish proper feedback and reporting lines within and outside own department.
